Matt, you absolutely nailed it, my friend! From the moment we stepped foot in Melbourne to the end of our trip in Hobart, everything has been incredibly easy and smooth. There were so many complex logistics involved, more than I have ever been involved with, and they all worked like a Swiss watch. I have been in multiple trips to England, Scotland, Ireland, France, etc. Never have I had a trip this long and this complicated go 100% right. And this one was exactly that, perfection. I would recommend you to all my friends and to whomever asks me about a golf trip to Australia. A big thank you to Richard, I am very aware that he worked incredibly hard on this itinerary. This was really great, I can't say further.

Thus far I have had the unique pleasure of experiencing THREE amazing and wholly distinct escorted tours to The Open and SIX gloriously fantastic extended Australian golf holidays in New South Wales, Victoria, and Tasmania. Due to the keen attention to detail and the warm and welcoming atmosphere consistently provided by Gary, Maureen, Matt, and the entire GREAT GOLF ESCAPES Team, one is truly afforded the opportunity to "ESCAPE" while playing the greatest golf courses on the planet, traveling with friends old and new, and creating vivid memories that will endure a lifetime. In the simplest of terms, GREAT GOLF ESCAPES is the absolute BEST and year after year they manage to exceed my increasingly high expectations, as most recently demonstrated with great kindness and care throughout the entirety of the escorted excursion to Northern Ireland for The Open at Royal Portrush in July 2025! We loved the city of Melbourne great party town, restaurants, bars. The hotel accommodations rooms were great as was the breakfast all the people who worked there couldn't have been more attentive and helpful. The golf......the golf...each club welcomed us with open arms and, to our surprise, wonderful welcoming gifts, ditty bags, bag tags, scorecard holders, ball markers...our names on a digital board welcoming us. The Victoria Club hung an American flag so much to appreciate so much to be thankful for! Every pro shop made us feel like members not guests, so kind and so welcoming. The courses were beyond anything we expected, the sandbelt is so special we really appreciated McKenzie designs and influence spectacular. The greens the bunkers loved it all. All the sightseeing adventures were perfect, the football game, the Great Ocean Drive helicopter ride was fine, the koala and kangaroos omg we just enjoyed seeing the animals in the wild the Healesville Sanctuary, Melbourne walking tour, every guide was truly remarkable in their knowledge and willingness to give us a worthwhile experience. But the stars were our caddies, Aaron, Nick, Tom and James, they made it so much fun for us so patient so funny we loved these guys...we felt so fortunate to have them with us guiding us through these iconic courses. A spectacular job you really made a dream become a reality for us.

GGE executed every golf course and destination (we did numerous non-golf locations and experiences) we had on our list; they clearly have all of the necessary connections. Accommodations were top notch and all transits / flights were arranged by GGE and executed flawlessly. Steven Lo Ricco and Christine Jonchev showed great urgency and customer service in resolving the few minor issues we encountered over 32 days. All of this at a fair price (lower than a competitor agency we started with). The vacation exceeded our expectations, and we recommend GGE to anyone looking for a golf and/or sightseeing experience in Australia/New Zealand.

My wife and I received a recommendation to use Golf Select for our trip and we are glad we did. Golf Select did a terrific job in all aspects of the trip from golf course selection and scheduling to hotels and transportation. They also helped us arrange some excellent non-golf events. We have done a number of foreign golf trips with other companies and Golf Select is as good as any we have used.

We had a great trip with 10 ladies from Melbourne! Everything went well, golf courses challenging but fun. Accommodation was excellent and the personalised service from Golf Service was outstanding as usual.

Staff was great and very attentive in dealing with a couple of unexpected issues that popped up. Worked overtime to resolve rent car and lodging issues that presented some challenges. Golf venues top notch from famous venues to lesser known courses.

We are a group of 12 golfers, many of us have been golfing around the world every year for the last 25 years, so there is level of experience that is knowledgeable. GolfSelect and Steven were par excellence in every aspect, from listening and understanding the needs and desires of the Group, to making suggestions, great planning, offering alternatives, and of course, the critical element of execution. Most important was the element of communication and responsiveness. Steven was incredible in this area. As Group Coordinator, I can’t say enough great things about GolfSelect and Steven. The potential impact of a few travel snags we had (delayed clubs and a 6 hour late flight) were addressed quickly and thoroughly.

I had the pleasure of working with Steven from Golf Select to put together a remarkable 3-day golf excursion to the Mornington Peninsula for myself and 19 mates. From start to finish, this experience was nothing short of exceptional, easy, and I can't praise it enough. Our group has been embarking on annual golf trips for the past decade, and this one ranks among the very best. In July I joined the GOLFSelect tour of Scotland, which included tickets to the final 2 days of The Open at St Andrews. What a fantastic trip it was!

Gary, Matt and Maureen were very friendly from the first meeting in Glasgow, making it feel like a trip with a group of friends rather than a structured tour.

I was able to enjoy playing some of the best courses in Scotland including ; St Andrews, Carnoustie, Royal Troon (both courses on one day!), Prestwick, Kingsbarns, Turnberry , Royal Dornoch, Castle Stuart and the list goes on! With a mix of people from both Australia and overseas, there was always an interesting conversation to be had and I know the memories will last a lifetime.

I was impressed with the way the team kept us all keen to play and am grateful for the effort they all made to ensure that the trip lived up to my expectations. Standing on the 1st tee at St Andrews was one of life's moments for me, as was the 17th "Road Hole" drive over the hotel.

Friendships have been made & I know that I will be on another GOLFSelect tour before too long!
